Her Heart is so excited to hear the Victorian Heart Hospital in progress, which is set to turn around the statistic that heart disease is the single leading cause of death for Australians.
“The first designs for the Victorian Heart Hospital – Australia’s first dedicated cardiac facility – have been unveiled by the Victorian Government, marking a major milestone for the $543 million project.
When complete in 2022, the facility will ensure all Victorian patients with heart disease can access the world’s best cardiac care, by bringing together cardiovascular treatment, ground breaking medical research and training under one roof.
The artist impressions of the state-of-the-art facility were designed by joint venture John Wardle and Conrad Gargett in collaboration with VHHSBA and project partners Monash Health and Monash University to ensure the wellbeing and healing of patients were at the centre of the hospital’s innovative design.”
