massive heart attack three years ago caused by Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection (SCAD), a rare emergency occurrence where a tear forms in the wall of the coronary artery.\u00a0Del&#8217;s treatment required her to get a Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD), a mechanical pump implanted inside her chest to help her heart pump blood, causing her to have &#8216;no pulse&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p
